And so they did, and amazingly discovered a new technology that came in the form of a tiny spherical grenade. When exploded in the vicinity of the target, it temporarily leaves the mind open for programming by injecting tiny nanobots into the target's brain. If programmed during that window, the target could permanently be placed under control and their mind, effectively, controlled.
Jacob spared no expense and hired spies to track down Vanessa and April at April's house. They deployed the experimental weapon, throwing it into April's bedroom window.
